Megan Thee Stallion was the Most Awarded Artist at the 2021 BET Awards

ree

This year’s 2021 BET Awards theme was “Year of the Black Woman," and Megan Thee Stallion had no problem proving this. Megan was nominated for seven awards this year: Video of the Year, Viewer's Choice (2x) Collaboration (2x), Female Hip Hop Artist, and Album of the Year.

By the end of the night, she took home four awards: Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Video of the Year, and Best Collaboration, both for “WAP,” her collaboration with Cardi B; and the viewer’s choice award for “Savage,” her collaboration with Beyoncé. This is the second year in a row that Megan has won best female hip hop artist, and it’s also the second year in a row where she's won the viewer’s choice award.

Megan also gave one of the best performances of the night, dressed in an all-black latex bodysuit giving major "Hot Girl Summer" vibes. She also performed as part of DJ Khaled’s performance of “I Did It” alongside H.E.R., Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and DaBaby.
